Demonstration of the NEW Online VR Program Evaluation Tool

Date/Time: March 21, 2018 at 2:00pm EST

Evaluating services is important. VR agencies face increasing pressures to implement evidence-based practices and measure results. Finding the time to conduct rigorous evaluations can be challenging for VR program evaluation staff. The VR Program Evaluation Coach is a new tool program evaluation staff can use to conduct time-saving and rigorous evaluations of programs and services.
The VR Program Evaluation Coach is designed to provide VR agencies with an online “toolkit” of resources containing everything needed to plan and execute a program evaluation of a change to VR services, programs, or policies. The VR Program Coach includes all the tools needed to conduct a forward-looking pilot of a new service or a backward-looking evaluation of a service that has already been implemented among a subset of clients, counselors, or offices.

This webinar is conducted in partnership with the Technical Assistance Center for Program Evaluation and Quality Assurance (PEQA), which assists State VR agencies in building capacity through professional education and training of VR evaluators. Ongoing funding for the VR Program Evaluation Coach is provided by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research’s Rehabilitation and through TransCen’s Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Vocational Rehabilitation Practices for Youth and Young Adults.
