NARRTC Conference 2018 Call for Abstracts


The conference theme for 2018 is “Shaping the Future”

The NARRTC is particularly interested in submissions that focus on the future of disability-related research, policy and/or advocacy efforts in relation to the three domains of NIDILRR’s research and development agenda: 1) Health and Function; 2) Employment; and 3) Community Living and Participation. Within these domains, papers should focus on one or more of the following areas:  Community Participation, Education, Employment, Health, Knowledge Translation, Rehabilitation, and/or Technology.

Key Dates

Submissions Due: December 1, 2017

Notifications By: December 15, 2017

Conference Registration by: January 15, 2018

The call for abstracts is now open for:

  • Research Papers (15 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of Q&A)
  • Poster Presentations (presented during the poster reception on March 26).
  • Panel Presentations (pre-organized panel of up to three presenters on a similar topic or from one project/center)
