The RRTC’s online trainings are designed to translate the Center’s research into useable, interactive capacity building resources providing up-to-date, evidenced-based information to Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) staff and transition stakeholders – VR agencies, policymakers, researchers, transitioning youth and their families, educators, practitioners, and employers – with the long-term goals of enhancing the VR service delivery system and improving the lives of transitioning youth with disabilities and their families.

The following online training formats are available:

Online Seminars:

Center staff conceptualized a series of short training seminars related to improving VR service delivery to youth and young adults. Each seminar consists of an overview of a topic, 30 minutes of content, and a 10-question quiz to assess the participant’s understanding of content. These self-directed training segments are perfect for ongoing capacity building of VR staff and transition and employment stakeholders.

Online seminar participants are able to receive a certificate of completion* from the Center if they score at or over 70% on the associated quiz.

*Once submitted, please allow Center staff 2-3 weeks to email participants certificates of completion.

Webinars are longer in duration and are delivered by RRTC partners and related content experts. Webinar topics are either directly related to the RRTC studies or feature a broader look at issues and strategies affecting VR service delivery to youth and young adults.

Please note that the RRTC does not offer certificates of completion for archived webinars. However, the RRTC does offer certificates for our live webinars, so check back often for details on our newest offerings.
